From Emily’s Bridge (Sunset, Saturday, 15 October 2011)
At my sister’s place there’s a wooden footbridge from the driveway to the house, over a small brushy ravine, and at the driveway end, a great view to the west. I perched atop her monstrous white 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins 24-valve turbo diesel truck (which she called Billy Blanco) for this view. We had just had a great day remembering Emily.

It is with tremendous sadness that I find out about Emily.
She was a true love in my life..We lived together for 4 years. 1977-1980.
On top of Patrick's Road house on P.C.H. Then in a house on Rialto in Venice.....
We travelled to Mexico together for a couple of months.
She taught me much.. She also taught me to ride a motorcycle..
We had lost touch with each other and it was just this past September that I was compelled to locate her and see how life had treated her..
My condolences.
